Jewish General Hospital (JGH) – Fundraising
We design theme-based concepts that use simple visuals to covey complicated messages for fundraisers orchestrated by the JGH Foundation. The key visual becomes the common thread woven throughout all communication tools: from Save-the-Dates and invitations, to event programs and digital projections, followed by always original post-event publications.
This year marks the 10th anniversary of the SCC and we were tasked with creating a theme that would reflect the outstanding professional talent and cutting edge innovation that has brought the Centre international recognition and has made it a magnet for cancer patients across Quebec.
CommDesign developed a bilingual theme and logo: “Esprits Brillants –10 ans/years – Brilliant Minds”. “Brilliant” refers to the researchers and staff, while at the same time functioning as a synonym for “diamond” – the element often used to mark a 10th anniversary. Every detail, from event stationery to digital projections to the shape of the ice cubes at the reception, was designed with the key visual of diamonds/brilliance in mind. The gala was a huge success and raised $1,400,000.
